This attendance is suitable for candidates who have previously completed recognised Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor training and are ready to sit or re-sit the CPCS A62 Technical Test. Candidates should be fully prepared for both the theory and practical elements of the assessment prior to attendance.

The CPCS A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor qualification develops the knowledge and practical understanding required to safely supervise lifting operations in accordance with current legislation, industry standards and recognised best practice.
Candidates attending for Test Only should already possess the knowledge required to undertake the CPCS A62 Technical Test.
Upon successful completion of the CPCS A62 Technical Test, candidates will achieve the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card for Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor. The Red Card is valid for two years and provides a recognised route towards achieving the CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card via NVQ Level 4 in Controlling Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts.
CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Specialist Supervisory (SPEC-SUP) – Candidates must hold a valid test pass completed within the previous two years. You can book the required test here. For further information see our Training Resources page.
